Okay well after your delivery, c-section or vaginal, (because Im not sure yet how ours is coming due to his big head!) how long did it take you to recooperate? I just wonder how long before I can go to walmart or places like that, plus we have the fair coming in to town in 3 weeks and I def want to go (mainly to eat haha) Im a BIG baby and do not tolerate pain well and I am also the type of person that can NOT be still I constantly have to be up and doing something so I imagine I will have a miserable time for a while....give me your stories!

I've had both vaginal and c-section.  I recovered quickly with both.  As soon as you feel up to it you can do what you want.  Just remember the baby won't have a strong immune system so be careful going places where there will be alot of strangers.

I had a c-section 5 yrs ago and had a vaginal 3 weeks ago. I have had a much better recovery with vaginal. The csection for me was and awful experience. You cannot drive the first 2 weeks after a csection and it takes alot longer for the pain to go away. I still had scar tissue that would bother me yr.s after the csection...I had also gotten an infection with it.
With my vbac I can tell my mood is even better..just cause I can walk and drive and if I could I would have sex now...but have to wait 6 weeks. ...plus I'm still bleeding a little.
With my csection I think it was at least 8 weeks before I would even think about sex.
In my opinion csections suck...but I know that sometimes they are neccessary.

Yes and I agree with have 2 kids..dont plan on carting your baby around everyhwere...they get cranky..and its not good for them to take their naps in their car seat at Walmart...they shouldbnt be around alot of people at first either..they need to build up their immune system.
Good Luck

Just so you will have another view on c-sections; I began with natural birth and ended up having a c-section after 20 hours of labor.  I have had abdominal surgery before and so kind of knew what to expect, and honestly, it was no worse than the time they did a laparoscopy to remove scar tissue around my appendix area.  I was walking that night, and home in 4 days, and although I lazed around as much as I could milk it for, I was up and out, and driving, and signing for things at the back door, and all that stuff with almost no hassles, quite early. I'm sure I drove in less than two weeks, but also remember using the car with the automatic transmission rather than the stick so it wouldn't be hard on my stomach muscles.  We were also told not to take the baby to parties and stuff in the same month he was born, for fear he would get a cold or be exposed to other things, and we didn't.  It surprised me that although my skin incision was somewhat tender, all the tenderness and pain I felt was early and skin-related, not uterus related.

I'd say you're fine to go...i had a vaginal and was fine!
just don't bring the baby to the mall yet....too many germs
an outside fair would be fine...you're going to have to get out...
fresh air is great for babies...
i was up and taking my dd for a walk by the 2 week....

I was at the store within 2 days of having T and he was with me, but covered by a light blanket and the day after I had CJ I was also out and about. I am a possessive momma anyway (I apparently give off a real "get away from me vibe with my new babies, lol), so no one bothers getting near me or my new baby. In fact, I had T on a Thursday and had him with me the following Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for my finals in three of my courses and Thursday for a presentation in my School Aged Care course. Sleeping baby in one arm, navigating the over-head with my other ; )

Of course, these were for the most part heavily controlled environemtns with ECE students who understood. You never know what you will encounter with the general public ; )

BTW, I had vaginal deliveries and a broken tailbone with CJ.

I was up moving around after both of them.  First baby was a little tougher, but I had 4th degree tearing and was so bruised and actually had abrasions on my inner legs and near my bottom.  Still was up on the 3rd day taking my baby to the Dr. since he had colic and the crying set in that first night home.  I was not given pain meds, just told to take Ibuprofen, so it was a little tough.  Second baby I was up walking around a few hours after baby and even ran to the store the next day, but leave the little one at home with someone if you are going to be in a big crowd, they can get so many things when they are little.  Otherwise, it's good to get out with them, and when you are both feeling up to it, go for it.  I was so worn out though with both boys, mine were both colicky and cried most of the night, not to scare you, I bet yours will be a little angel.
