any pregant Dental Hygienists?

I'm a Dental Hygienist. Just had a mc. I can't stop wondering if the disinfectant wipes I used caused my mc. The brand is 'Cavicide'. I did wear a mask when cleaning, but I could still smell it. Any RDH's out there who's been pregnant, used similar stuff and had healthy babies?

hi, i do know that it is dangerous to be around things like that. and it is a possible cause!

First, I am very sorry you are having to go through this. It's very difficult.

As for your question, I am not a hygenist, however, two different hygenists at the office I go to have both delivered healthy babies in the last 1.5 years. The dentist has three children and his wife was his hygenists during that time.

They also use that type of cleaner to clean baby products from what I just read on the internet.

Try not to blame yourself.
