My LMP was 9/11, but my levels are screwy right now. On Wednesday, they were at 80, which could be considered normal, but on Sunday, 5 days later, they were only at 112. Only a 32 point jump in 5 days, which isn't normal.

I'm going for another blood test in a few minutes to see if they keep rising, stay the same, or if they fall, and doc's gonna take it from there.

I'm still waiting on my first u/s and with a history of m/c I'm not getting over confident yet.  But so far so good with my hcg levels - my edd would be 6/12/08.

me too! i had a missed miscarriage in june. at my first ultrasound i was 8 weeks 2 days with a strong heartbeat. at 11 1/2 weeks i went to the hospital to confirm what the doc saw , for an exact due date and too my surprise there was no heartbeat. my baby died at 8 weeks 3 days. a day after i saw it. i was devestated and still am. i'm trying to stay positive with this one. i also had to have my levels checked and so far looking good. are you still getting your hcg levels checked? i go next week for a tranvaginal us. not sure if i should be excited or not?

I can totally relate....I always try to hold my tongue and not tell anyone, but after 4 mc in the last 2 years everyone knows what we are going thru and always asks questions, so it is hard to keep it quiet.  My family  knows and some co-workers, but my hubby is keeping it quiet to his family until after our u/s next Wednesday.  I am having my hcg monitored twice a week....today was 17363!!!  I never saw anything over 3600 in any of my other pregnancies, and that was at 8.5 weeks with the last one.  I am amazed every time I get the levels back and they are so in the normal range....I keep waiting for something bad to happen.  I usually only make it 5.5-6.5 weeks except the last one that was 8.5 but not going well from the beginning.  I will be 6w tomorrow, and this time every number has been in the "normal" range if not higher....I'm starting to wonder how many are in there!!

well long story short, i had the craziest dream last saturday night that the baby had stopped growing and his heart stopped beating. it was so real i cried. Now i am scared to go to the docter on firday for that reason. i just think that we all hear to many horror stories when we are pg and especially on here i read alot. i cant help but to worry =(

I'm due right around June 20th.  My lmp was 9/13.  I'm also worried although my numbers have been good.  After 3 mc, it's difficult not to be worried.  I go in next Wednesday for my first us.  The doctor is having my dh give me progesterone shots 3 times a week.  Yuk!

Hi i had a missed miscarriage in june. i think is the worst miscarriage someone can have. i had no symptoms of miscarriage. i was 8 1/2 weeks, but didn't find out till i was going into my 12 th week that the heartbeat vanished. i'm not telling anyone this to scare them. each and every pregnancy is different with a fresh start. i'm very worried with this pregnancy. its horrible!

I had two m/c and when i got pregnant the third time i was very anxious as well to the point i said early u/s please i went in at 6w2d and they picked up a heartbeat how exciting. he was born in June and is 17w old it is so amazing how that little dot has become a little man.

yes i'm 5 weeks prego, I thought was due earlier like the 16th but when i called and made the first appt she told me that my due date was the 18th.  my last lmp was 9-10.  Let us all know how your u/s goes next week.  My dr has never given me one before 18 weeks so I have a while for my pics. However I am able to hear the heartbeat around 7 weeks which is pretty early.  I have my 1st appt next friday and at that time I'll be 6 weeks 5 days or something like that :o)

I had my first u/s at 6 weeks.  I'm considered high risk with a history of EP's, so they wanted to check me first thing.  I have had some bleeding, but nothing real heavy so I'm going in again tomorrow for another u/s.  Last monday we seen the flicker of the heartbeat... it was 110 bmp!!!! :)

Torra325 that sounds like really good news, I personally have not been what you ladies have been through. I have only experienced through my sister when she lost her baby at 19 weeks, it was very sad.  baby dust for all of you and keep up your faith.

I am due on June 17th. We are both only eighteen and this is our first baby so we're a little nervous. I am so scared of having a miscarriage, even though I son't have any signs of one, it still frightens me because of some of the stories I have read on here. Can miscarriages be genetic? Because they aren't common in my family and that would make me feel a bit better. My first ultrasound is on October 29th.

I do not think m/c are genetic.  I think it all depends on if its a viable pregnancy or not.  If they were genentic then I must be adopted both of my sisters went through m/c and so did my mom.  So good luck to you just keep going to your regular dr appt and don't miss any, they are there for a reason.

Honestly I'm not sure if they were able to come to any conclusion but I also had a 6-7 month old baby at the time so if I was told, I probably forgot. lol!  I do remember that her lose, is very, very rare.  Have you have your u/s today? If so how did it go? Keep the faith.

By the way did you change your appointment? After reading your post I wanted to change mine to, because I will only be 6 weeks. I know myself, if they dont detect the heartbeat then, and tell me to go back later, I'll go crazy!

i did change it to friday. it killed me. i know it only adds two days but its more of a chance to see that flicker too. on wednesday i believe i'm just starting my 6th week and one day if that. i can't wait a whole month later till i go to my first prenantal visit.he does an us there. thats nov.15th. i asked for it then so i can see if my baby makes it past that 9 week period. my last died at 8 weeks 3 days.

New to this site -- due June 6th.  I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks this June, so I'm very nervous.  This was my second m/c, but I also have a healthy 18 month old son.  I had an ultrasound showing a heart beat last week, but I also had that with my miscarriage earlier this year.  Morning sickness and other symptoms are worse this time, so hopefully that is a good sign.  Good luck to all the new mommies!

well....i just found out that i am 4wk 3days && im new to my town so i dont have a dr yet....but based on my lmp (09/23) and my DD should be around june 29....no morn sickness so far...but i do make more trips 2 the BR....& have some slight symptoms....this is my 2nd preg so i don kno if my body is just dealing with the hormones or if its just too early to feel like a lucky one LOL but im just wondering on average when do most women start to show during the 2nd preg???

i'm right with ya! i think this thread is so good for all of us to vent and be able to talk about all of our worries and concerns. i too had a missed miscarriage in june. what scares me the most was i had no symptoms of a miscarriage. that really freaks me out this time around. i'm currently 6 1/2 weeks pregnant. i think my  due date is june 17th. i won't no for sure until tomorrow, i go for my first scan. i'm sooo nervous. thats great  that you saw a heartbeat last week. how exciting!! i have ms, no vomitting though, but sometimes ms all day. i hope everythings alright this time. i don't think i'll be able to handle another miscarriage.   Yungmomma welcome to our thread of june mommies. i honestly don't remember when i started to show with my second . this is my 4th.

It really is scary getting through your first trimester after you've had a miscarraige.  I have good days where I feel really positive, then worse days, where I worry all day.  Morning sickness all day has got to be a sign things are going well (I'm having that, too!).  We'll look forward to hearing your good news after tomorrow's ultrasound!!!

Keri3 - That is such great news!  Did your u/s give a different due date than your last menstrual period?  Mine did by 7 or 8 days.

Lilyb - I'll bet that was disappointing, but you should have more interesting baby stuff to look at if you do have to wait longer for your us.

its best to wait till monday. there was almost a chance i had to go home yesterday without seeing it. the tech had almost gave up after an hour. because it was just so tiny. it was hiding up against the wall. and at last second it decided to pop down to say hello. thank goodness. i was measured at 6 weeks 3 days exactly what we figured on. Lilyb on monday it shouldn't be as stressful for you. like it was for me. a few days really makes a big difference. thats why i told Shar7222 to hang in there. i'm sure its fine, but just impossible to see at that point. shar7222 after what i went through yesterday with barely seeing anything and a week ahead. i can't believe your doc even attepted. i think they just do things like that sometimes just to torture us. lol. keep us updated next week. and i'm sure things will turn out for you.

Hey fellow preggos! I'm due June 8th if they stick, with twins. How are all of your symptoms? I'm a little over 8 weeks now, still no bleeding or cramping (thank the Lord!!!). My MS comes and goes, always there in the am and usually pm, but sometimes I get breaks mid day and it's so nice. Then I'll have a few days that are awful and I get so moody and just want to cry and hit dh!! I've noticed I've gotten much moodier lately. I sleep a lot and just feel like I have the flu. My throat is sore as well, and sometimes I'm stuffed up. Also, I think I feel my uterus way low, like around the hair line, which is fun! But I'm not positive. And I'm so bloated!! Ok, that's enough. Praying all our babies stay in their place and grow healthy and big.

i just had my first appointment yesterday to confirm pregnancy and i'm due june 19th.  up to now i was not having any symptoms but i went to bed last night feeling awful and woke up the same way and its lasted pretty much all day.  i need lots of prayers to keep me well enough to take care of my girls.  i am a SAHM of 3 (4, 2, 6months) so being laid out on the floor (or even taking naps) is out of the question for me!  hope everyone is feeling great and i wish all of us happy, healthy pregnancies!!!

Yeah my first. We would be so excited to have two! I took clomid for the first time and got twins. I'm still pretty nervous, I don't know if that will go away until they pop out healthy and breathing!

Hi everyone,

I have been ttc for a long time now and I am finally pregnant. I have some question and would love to hear your opinion
1) I had my last period on Sept 17 (first day). I ovulated on Sept 30th. Imp probably occured between 5th to 8th Oct. How far along am I? I was under the impression  was supposed to count from Sept 17th?
2) I had some bleeding on Monday (Oct 29th) night and went to the ER. I had a vag exam and a blood test. They told me after the vag exam that the cervix was closed and there was no more bleeding. I don't have the blood test results yet. I had a follow-up u/s yesterday afternoon where they saw a gestational sac and a yolk sac but no fetal pole and no h/b. Is this normal?
Any help/advice would be appreciated, I am quite scared and worried.

i'm thinking going by your lmp your 6 w 2 days. my lmp was 9/11. i'm 7 w 1 day today. i hope this helps. i know sometimes a heartbeat can't be seen until 6 1/2 weeks. my first us was at 6 w 3 days and they saw my baby by transvaginal us and a heartbeat was seen. do you mean hcg blood work?

Thanks. I was reading lmp as IMP (short for implantation) hence my confusion! I had both kinds of u/s, the transabdominal one showed a very small size in the uterus and the trangsvag showed the gestational sac & the yolk sac. The u/s was done to determine that this is not ectopic (due to bleeding the previous day), which they are now sure. I am waiting for the blood test results which should give me numbers on the hcg & other hormones. I know that not seeing a fetal pole at this point is not the death knell but I can't stop worrying. I have an appt to see my ob/gyn next Wednesday, at which point I am going to insist she do another u/s - hopefully that one will show something positive. Fingers and toes crossed.

Hi all~I had a miscarriage August 5th, 2007.  My LMP was 09.02.07 with normal hormonal rise.  Calculating from my LMP I should be due June 8, 2007 (day after my oldest turns 16!), the doctor gave me a due date of June 19th so where would that put me week wise?  On Wednesday my US only showed the fetus to be barely 6 weeks with no visable heartbeat. My last hormones came in over 14,000.  I retested my hormones yesterday & should have the results later on today. I keep getting a sharp shooting pain in my left side that sometimes has me doubled over. I am very confused. After (3) normal pregnancies this one seems very odd.  She wants to see me back on Nov. 14 for another US to check for fetal growth & heartbeat.

no i am not having any pains... but i did spot just a tiny bit today but it may have been from a b/m (sorry tmi!!!) and my doctor told me to take some stool softeners!  but other than that i'm doing pretty good.  but what's weird (or different) about this pregnancy for me is i'm not sick like throwing up...  but i have been extremely lightheaded and dizzy a lot.  my doctor told me the next time it happens really bad to go to the ER so they can check me out (b/c its not my thyroid like they thought).  i hope you get good news about your levels and stay positive!  i'll check back on here later to see what your news is (i have to go pick up my dh from the airport)  :)

Well, I just called my Dr.'s office, and completely forgot they closed at 1:00pm today - Figures. So I get to be worried and anxious all weekend.  If these pains continue to worsen, I might just take a trip to the ER.  They need to figure out what is causing this pain.

i agree... never let pain go unattended!  does your doctor's office have an after hours # to call before you take a trip to the ER?  hope you don't get too stressed this weekend...  try to relax and have faith!!!

hi i'm new here.. i'm due june 26th this is my third pregnancy ( two healthy girls 4 & 2) but the worrying doesn't get any easier. i have to deal with gestational diabetes already. unfortunately i had it with my last pregnancy,and of course i'm lucky enough to be testing pos. for it now too.. anyway my hgc levels are nice and high i'm not sure of the exact #'s but i was told that my progesterone level was a little on the lower side not to worry though.. i went in for a sono today 6w 2d and all we saw was the gestational sak and yolk sak.. no heartbeat! i was really disapointed, my doc said not to worry that it might be too early to see it. i have to repeat my hgc levels tomorrow and go for another sono next week.. then he said "don't go announcing to anyone your preg yet.. have someone come with you next week too." i've gotta tell you that is scaring the hell out of me....

Hello to all, I am 10w1d today. Due June 1st, 2008.  I also have had 2 miscarriages and 1 tubal.  I went to the ER when I was 5 weeks to make sure it wasn't another tubal and it was not..Thankfully.  Went back when I was 7 weeks and saw the fetal pole and seen/heard heartbeat.  My next appt. is in a couple of days and I will be 10w3d. This is my longest pregnancy.  I never made it passed 5weeks before.  Good luck to all.

i miscarried and had a dnc june 22nd. i tried right away as soon as my first period ended. it took two months. i got pregnant again the end of september. my due date now is june 17th. good luck to you. it'll happen.

Hey all - Update - I went in for my U/S yesterday. The sac now measures 7w, but no change in fetus. I asked the doc if what we were looking at "appeared" to look like a fetus and she said she didn't think so. There still was no hb detected so I am not sure what is happening.  I have no bleeding and she wants another blood test to see if my hormones are rising or lowering.  When I was in two weeks ago, the fetus measured 6w and no hb.  She isn't sure what is happening, because my hormones have doubled with all the tests.  She said, well, lets get another hormone check and I want to see you in another week??????  I should be 10w 3d since LMP. I confirmed with her that at 7 weeks we should definately see a heartbeat right? She agreed and said lets see in another week. I am waiting for my results - I have to wait another 1/2 an hour.......this sucks

i have my 1st u/s tomorrow morning and before now i've never been worried about anything during a pregnancy until i started reading all the things people go through on this website.  its really hard reading all these awful things sometimes.

Hi!  I'm due June 9th and am 10 w 1 d.  We are havving a few problems with hemorrhaging but I've now had 6 sonograms and baby looks great each time. I've only had bleeding twice for less than 5 hours each time but we can see the hemorrhage on the sonogram.  We'll see what happens. This is my third pregnancy and I didn't have this with either of my other two.  Hopefully this pulls through and it's a fighter!

Well, my results came in. My levels dropped from 23,000 to 14,000
Doc says not to worry and she will still see me in  a week???  I have read and researched so much, I know what is happening. It's clearly obvious with the U/S results and now drop in levels.  Lets just hope I can get through this weekend with no bleeding........I am getting married Saturday and hopefully can have a "romantic" wedding night with my new husband.

oh, congrats on your wedding!  i'm sorry about how other things are going but definately congrats on that.  when my husbad and i got married i was 4 months pregnant w/ our 1st.  by the time we were in our room at the bed and breakfast we were at i was too tired to do anything and i fell asleep for a while and then when i woke up i kept throwing up in the bathroom :(  it was not exactly a romantic time!  i hope yours goes better!  and i hope when you go back on a week for your next appt something has changed for the better!  good luck.

i'm almost 11 weeks...  i still get nauseous at night.  and i'm finding it increasingly hard to get out of bed in the mornings lately.  i'm waiting for the 2nd trimester to kick in with my increased energy along with it...  b/c w/ 3 kids at home i'm in desparate need of it!!!

I know I'm very excited to reach the 12 week mark too.  I can't wait until January so my dh and I can find out what we are having.  I think we are having another girl but we are hoping for a boy becuase we have 2 girls already :o)

we have 3 girls!!!  i totally see us having all girls though.  but i really do want a boy just b/c i know when our girls are older it will be harder for their daddy to relate to what they are going through and i don't want him to feel left out!  also, he plays year round flag football and a father-son team would be awesome!!!  either way with all the stuff we went through w/ out youngest dd, we just want a healthy baby... girl or boy...
