anyone who has had a m/c after 10-11wk had reason and sex of baby??

Has anyone who has had a m/c after 10-11 wks, ever had any sort of results back of what may of happened? and the baby's sex?

After my thrid m/c, they said they would test the fetus and see if they could find the course, especially after them seeing the heart beat at 8wks!

This was early Dec 06 and as yet i have still not heared anything.

Can they tell the sex? and course? or is it too early?

Did you contact your Dr?  The results should have been in a long time ago.
Sometimes they can tell what happened and sometimes not.

I can't really help you but to say they should know the sex by the DNA. Sorry for all your losses.

i miscarried on December 5 2006. i was 12 weeks and 4 days along. my baby was a girl, but the cause was only what they supected not definate (placenta abruptio)
i knew before Christmas.

you should call the doctor and ask.

I miscarried at 9.5 weeks.  At my 2 week follow up after D&C I found out it was a girl w/ Turners syndrome, which, if didn't miscarry would've been an abnormal baby.

Thanks lady's, i have not called the doctor yet! I know at the time they said they were back logged and it would take upto 12wks or so, which is past that now!

I was 8 weeks and they tested my baby who died at 6 weeks....they knew it was a girl, normal chromosomes....no reason why the baby died.

I had two miscarriages.. one at 6wks and one at 8wks.. the first baby never knew the sex.. it was all tissue it had never formed..but it died because I didn't know I was RH-.. 2nd baby didn't know the sex.. saw HB at 6wks.. baby died 2 wks later.. passed normally... died because my body doesn't produce enough progesterone.. since then i have had 3 very healthy normal babies.. who are 5 1/2 3 1/2 and 19m.. sorry for your losses... but i never knew what my first two were:( now i wish i had asked and tested to find out.. but i still miss them daily...
