baby clothes

Is it just me or are the 3 to 6 month clothes not much bigger than the 0 to 3 monthes clothes?

Jacob just out grew the 0 to 3...  All the 3 to 6 monthes stuff I have bought him fits but I can't imagine them fitting him for very long,  The seem to fit just right.. not to big or long at all.

What are your favorite brands and why??

each brand seems to have its own definitions for sizes, so when possible, i go by weight. little me runs very small, and carters seems to run a bit bigger. when the tags don't have a height and weight range, i get the next size up just in case.

i thought the same thing when dd went into 3-6 months. luckily, at that point they slow down the rate of weight gain.

i feel like some carter's things run small.  izzy is only 4 months and is wearing the 9m carters.  the 6m jammies fit her ok but the onesies are too tight lengthwise.  She is in the 75% so she is not huge or anything.
she has outgrown clothes very fast - luckily mommy and aunties love to shop for her!!  Right now tho I am done buying 6m stuff - I'll just get 9m so she can wear it longer.
my favorite things for her are the more boutiquey brands - bebe monde, cache cache, etc.
cache cache does have adorable things for boys too!

Thank you....I feel the same way.  Now I am dragging out items for Ethan that are even 9months, because every brand is so far off.  My DH said it is just another way to have women buy more clothes for their babies!

The one brand I've found that fits more true to size is Gymboree.  I know they are a little more expensive but if you catch the sales, they are cheaper than Target!  I just hit their Memorial Day sale and got my two kiddos comined 29 pieces of clothes for $136 which breaks down to about $4.68 a piece and their clothes hold their quality.  I'll definately be buying this next one Gymbo clothes!  Carters also seems to work well although I noticed at they started wearing the 18-24 month size that the one piece short outfits ran small through the crotch.  I think each child is so different.
