baby with a broke married man does his wife pay?

Hi i had a baby with a married man dont judge me i didnt know about her until my 7th month of being pregnant now i want nothing to do with his *** he does nothing for my daughter he  has nothing to do with her i live in the state of ny im ready to put him on child support, hes not working but his wife is in the military will she have to pay for his slack or what ??????

Interesting question.  On the one hand, his wife is part of a married couple, and generally speaking one spouse is on the hook for the debts of the other unless they can be shown not to have been incurred during the marriage.  But the obvious answer is that if somehow the law were to take it as far as to make a wife financially responsible for the child of her cheating spouse (which it seems like somewhere along the line, this law would not exist or would be changed), anyway, if the law were to take it that far, the simple answer for her is to divorce him.  Obviously she has two reasons to -- one, he cheated on her.  Two, not have to pay for his child with someone else for 18 years.  If I were being faced with such an obligation if I stayed married to a cheating spouse, if it took a divorce to break the financial tie, I sure wouldn't hesitate to do it.

No, the wife will not be held responsible. She will be considered an injured spouse and is not liable for his child support and her income/assets will not be considered.

Too bad they don't do that for women whose husbands run up other kinds of debts during marriage without their knowledge.  A friend of mine got hit for a hundred thousand dollars of so-called "joint" debt that she knew nothing about until her husband left her.
