Yes it does my daughters was always between 160 and 180 bpm i/ pregnant with my son and his is always between 130 and 150 bpm so congratulations and good luck

No it doesn't. The heartbeat is nothing more than a myth. It raises and fails based on movement and what baby is doing. If the child is resting it will be lower versus if they are active. In early pregnancy it will also be faster and start to slow down as pregnancy progresses. I had a girl and her heartbeat was almost always 120-135.
