bbt charting

Good morning ladies, I have a quick question for you.  I have been charting my bbt this month and using fertility friend as an on-line chart provider.  I started charting on day 8 of my cycle and on day 10 I had a rise of .4 degrees and maintained with some fluctuation (sp?) and about 5 days later my bbs became very sore with nipple sensitivity (sorry if tmi) and then on day 17 I had another .4 degree rise in temp and on day 18 I had another .5 degree raise.  For the last two nights I have also been roasting dh out of bed, and he told me that I was actually hot to the touch ( I haven't done that since I was pg with ds). Fertility friend said I didn't O until day 17, but I wonder if I may have O'd on day 9, we bd'd on day 7, 9, and 11. So I quess my question is do you think I O'd on day 9, or 17 and could the high temps on day 17 and 18 be from pg.  I also did a opk on day 19 and it was neg.( just did the test to see what it would say).  Dh and I have been ttc for amost 2 1/2 years with 2 m/c since the birth of ds and my cycle is usually 24 days long.  Any thoughts or insight you my have would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

did you use opk any other days???  So how many dpo's are you actually.  sorry I am just a lil confused.  fertility friend always messes up....that site told me i never o'ed and i got bfp that cycle.  its hard to say w/ out seeing your temps over a period of time to learn your cycles.  it takes about 3mths to see the pattern in your temp changes.  If your temp stays up til 18dpo and you still have no af....chances are you are prego...best wishes

I don't have a clear enough temperature shift for FF to recognize on ovulation date. It actually put me at ovulating AFTER I had already had a positive HPT.

I just know that 97.5 is my usual coverline. When I manually changed my FF coverline to that, my O day matched the day when I started having sore breasts and other symptoms.

I have not used an opk on any other days.  I have just gone through 2 rounds of clomid and IUI and decided it was causing too much stress for dh and I and decided to just chart my bbt to better understand my cycles.  I think FF may have been off on my cycle as well.  I will just continue to cart until af comes, it is due on friday anyway.  Right now I am on cd20 which would put me at 12 dpo, or 4 dpo depending on which date you use.

I would guess that you ovulated on day 9 from the first rise.  It sounds like your chart is triphasic, which could be a sign of pregnancy, but don't get your hopes up just yet since lots of women get a triphasic chart without being pregnant.  I've also heard FF not working for alot of women, I just don't think a computer can understand a woman's body like we can, so I would use your own judgement.  Another thought if FF was right about you ovulating on cycle day 17, and you only have a 24 day cycle, you might have a luteal phase deficiency.  I've heard it needs at least 10 days for you to have a sufficient luteal phase for the baby to implant successfully, but from what you post, I think you ovulated on cycle day 9.  Just my 2 cents.  Hopefully this is your month!!!!  Sticky baby dust to you ******

I have been looking all over the ff website and can't figure out how to change my cover line.  I looked back at two bbt charts that I did months ago and most of my temps were below 97.6, so do you think it would be safe to change my coverline based on the three charts I have, even though two of them are older?  Thanks for your help.
