Babies really don't need a bath that often.  It can dry out their skin, and they just don't get that dirty or sweaty.  A book I read said that once a week is enough, unless they are soiled from a poop that wasn't easy to clean up with wipes.  I think I bathed my son only about every seven to ten days when he was an infant, when it seemed like his hair needed washing.  I did wash his hands daily (this changed to more often when he started crawling) and it seems like I washed his feet every third or fourth day.   Don't know if this helps.
