bladder infection for 2 year old??

I think my 2.5 year old dd has a bladder infection.  She has been going to the bathroom more frequently and is saying that her "butt hurts".  She doesn't have a fever....not sure if that is a symptom or not.  How else can I tell?  I called her dr office, but they don't open for a couple more hours.  Any thoughts?

Those are usually the symptoms. Be sure to rinse her bottom really well with water after soap in the tub and also don't use bubble baths. They're notorious for bladder infection/irritations. Definitely if she runs a fever, you should take her. I imagine that you already have since it is 1:45 pm est now. Best wishes.
