bleeding at 5weeks

hi   i   am   currently   5weeks   and   5days   pregnant   today   and when   i   woke   up   this   morning   i discovered   that   i had   pains   similar   to   menstrual  pains,and   when   i  went   to   the  toilet   i   noticed   slight   bleeding,and   about   thirty  minutes   after   it   was   brown  light   brown   discharge  mixed   with   a  little bit   of   blood,so   what  i wanna   know  is ,is  this   normal?   Have i lost  my  baby?   What  should  i do?

Don't panic, all may be okay. Have you had any clots in the blood?

Any kind of blood and cramping is scary. I might would put a call in to your OB because of the cramping along with blood. They may put your mind at ease, perhaps bring you in for blood work or u/s.

hello    thanx   for   your   replies,im   really   traumatised   now   and   dont   know   what   to do,the   bleeding   stopped   and   its   light  brown   not   really   blood,but  smells   like   blood   and   this   morning  i feel   odd   sounds   in  my   tummy,im  going  in  for   a scan  today,im  nervous   and  very   say.it   wasnt  clots   and   all,and pain  is  in the  uterus

This may implantation bleeding and not anything to worry about it. how did your scan go? Hope you're okay :-)
