bleeding, low hormone levels and progesterone pills

I don't knoow how to post a reply to a question I originally posted--so I am posing another question.  I am confused about the levels my doctor gave me.  He said my hormone level was low on the 1st blood test--only 2 digits. He said he wanted to see an 11 or 12.  What exactly was he talking about.  I keep seeing everyone talk about 3 digit levels--130 or so.  What was my doctor talking about.  I am bleeding, have a low level(?) and began taking progesterone pills to try and boost my level to carry the baby.  The ob basically said I would miscarry-but a friend in a similar situation was bleeding, had a low level, took the pills and dyas later, they found a heartbeat.  She was also told she would miscarry and delievered a healthy baby.  I am trying to find out the reasons I am bleeding to believe I can be doing so without miscarrying.  I see someone mentioned clots. a hemotoma, and such.  I have to believe this baby can make it.  Has anyone taken progesterone pills with low levels, bled and carried to full term?  I need stories of hope--I am trying not to give up my hope.

He is probably talking about your progesterone levels which is why he put you on the pills.  The higher numbers are HCG levels.  My Dr. wanted my progesterone level to be at 25 (mine was at 16).  I was put on injections and pills.  Good luck to you!!

well idk if im pregnant or what.....................so like i had positive and negative pregnancy results AND SO i went to my doctor for a blood test and they said i was pregnate but my levels were very  low and then i had bleeding so idk if i could still be pregnant but i think i am
