bleeding after d and c

hi, I am 35 years and just had a missed miscraige at 11 weeks and 4 days and had a D and C 2 days later as my baby measured only 7 weeks 3 days. My d and c was on the 7th of Sept and I had bright red spotting that night and on the 8th and then reduced to nothing. And now again I have started spotting not heavy spotting but still tiny bright red clots. Has anyone ecxperienced this?

Sorry to hear about your loss, every one is different in what they experience after a d&c, some ladies may have little to no bleeding, for others it can be sporadic and some like their usual period. I had a d&c at 8 weeks with my 2nd pregnancy after being diagnosed with a blighted ovum. I bled heavily for the first few days and it was painful too, then had what was like a period for about 10 days after that gradually getting lighter and lighter. It could just be your body clearing out anything that is left but if you are concerned then speak to your doctor.
