bleeding after m/c

i started miscarrying on 24th feb after weeks of going back to the hospital for u/s because no heartbeat was detected. the bleeding was really heavy and painful and i was admitted to hospital overnight ,in hosp i finally passed the sac without needing a d&c that was on the 28th then yesterday the bleeding had stopped but today when i went to the toilet and wiped there was red blood again is it normal for the bleeding to stop and start after a m/c also i really want to try again as soon as possible if i was to fall before my 1st period will i increase the risks of a m/c again. thanks

yes it's very normal....you can bleed of and on for weeks.  I'm so sorry to hear about your pain...as most of us here can relate.  I would wait until at least 4 to 6 weeks before trying again though so you can know how your cyle is going to be.  I am on cycle 4 since MC and my cycle is still screwy so be patient.  And good luck with trying again.

HI I just miscarried myself too, I was wondering if you can or anyone tell what the sac looks like when you miscarry...I passed a huge blood clot (during my shower) and it wasnt a normal blood clot that disolves..right away it was kinda hard....sorry if it gross but I havnt had any bleeding and am wondering if what i passed was the sac...

I have been bleeding on and off since my Dec/06 M/C.  I think I am kind of an odd case.  My last HCG on Monday was 4 so I am almost there.  The one before that was 13 on Feb 13th.  I started off at 18,000 the day I had my M/C so it can take a long time.  I mainly bleed now, not many clots.  Sorry for you loss.  Good Luck
