bleeding first trimester

I am 5 weeks pregnant, I had intercourse yesterday and started bleeding today, at first it was light then got darker and heavier, not that many clots. I had a m/c on july 4th, I believe that I am m/c ing again. Why am I bleeding?? Oh yea I also have light cramping with it. I am so worried. Does this sound like another m/c? My friend said she bled her first trimester and just delivered a healthy baby girl. Please success stories wanted. Thanks

Light cramping in early pregnancy is completely normal, as well as bleeding after intercourse throughout your entire pregnancy, because your cervix is more delicate. If you're having severe cramping, severe bleeding (one pad in one hour), or many clots you should contact your OB/GYN. If you're at all concerned it wouldn't hurt to contact them anyway just to put your mind at rest. Just remember, stressing won't help the baby at all. Try to relax and enjoy your pregnancy, it doesn't sound like a miscarriage to me, but you're so early on it's hard to tell. Congrats on the little bean!!!
