by tassiedevil63, Jul 16, 2003 12:00AM
hopefully someone else has been through this also....i have 4 children...on my second pregnancy i was carrying triplets but lost one at 2 mths and another at 3 mths but went on to carry and deliver a healthy baby girl...now it was quite a few yrs back so dont remember if i passed clots or not...i just remember very heavy bleeding...i had 2 more babies after that and now on my 5th...right away i knew it was a multiple birth as it felt just like my second pregnancy and on an early ultrasound it showed 4 guestation sacks....on a follow up ultrasound it showed just one remaining sack but they told me this is not a viable pregnancy..firstly telling me i was further than i knew i was and then saying i would abort within a week...i started spotting brown then alot of bright red with 2 clots then the bleeding stopped automatically...thing is i still feel pregnant i have sickness and sore breasts and tired...and a pregnancy test is still showing positive a week after the heavy bleeding...has anyone else been through this and continued being pregnant? please help...worried mum i dont want to lose them all ...someone give me some good hope...

I've never been pregnant, so I don't know much, but I'm sorry to say that it doesn't sound too good.  I was always told that the red spotting/bleeding isn't a good sign.  Have you been to the Doc's recently?  I would go ASAP.  Even if you have to go to the ER, do it so you know for sure, maybe the baby can be saved...stranger things have happenend.  Please get help ASAP...and keep us posted.  Sorry if I'm not much help.  If you want to talk, email me ***@****

I'm going through my sixth M/C and for almost all of them I have felt pregnant and continued with pregnancy symptoms for some time afterwords. My doc said that this is because my HCG levels stay up making your body think you're still pregnant. Sorry this isn't encouraging, but I would go see my doc if I were you. Have them do a U/S and some blood tests.
