bloody show?

by 110279hld, Mar 08, 2009 02:28PM
hey there all....  I'm 37 weeks preggers with #3.  I've had irregular very strong contractions for about a week now.  Doc says he'll induce me at 39 weeks, but doesn't think I'll make it that long.  I started having tons of bloody mucus on Friday night, and it's been like that since.  Mainly stringy mucus with blood throughout.  Is this a bloody show?  Or could it be something to be concerned about?  I have felt fine and baby is moving like normal.  Was induced with other 2 kids so I never had this before.  Any advice would me helpful.  Will labor begin soon or like I said should I be concerned?

It definately sounds like your bloody show.  When I had mine, I was having contractions and my water was leaking, so I can't give any advice on how long after you get it that you will go into labor.  Good luck!!
