Movement is not a reflection of gender.  An US will tell you if it is a boy/girl soon enough.

I agree, I have 2 boys, and the first one was so active he would move all day and night.  He even turned from breech and back a couple times after they turned him at 36 weeks.  He kicked through all of my contractions and was kicking his way out as he was born.  I was told he was an extremely active baby.  You could watch him from across the room and it looked like he was trying to ram his way out of the side of my belly.  Freaked some people out.  They figured he was small since he had room to move so much, never slowed down at the end (which about dropped me to my knees several times).  He was over 10 lbs. at birth.  Second baby was very laid back, not much of a kicker, big slow movements and rolling.  I would get a big burst around 4 am every morning and that was it.  My coworkers never really got to feel him move, they were pretty bummed, finally my boss got to feel him roll some the last day I worked before I went in to have him.  Gender has nothing to do with movement, size not so much either as he was just under 9 lbs.  I'm surprised in so many pregnancies all of your babies were so similar.  My boys have personalities like they did in my belly though, Carson is always moving, never stops, needs little sleep...Cameron is way more laid back, not a big sleeper either, but he settles down much easier.  Wait for the u/s.

i am pregnant w/ my first boy also after having 3 girls.  i am currently 24wks and 3 days and don't feel a whole lot of movement either (at least compared to my girls).  but i found out the reason why is not b/c its a boy...  its b/c my placenta is anterior (in front) and its acting as a cushion between me and the baby.  so even though he's moving, i don't always feel it.

I feel for ya with the four girls! I have four girls and my fifth child is a boy. He's 7 1/2 months. However, he was VERY active in utero! More so than  my girls. So I think it just depends on the baby. Congrats on the boy. I know I couldn't believe I was having a boy after my four girls.
