i have a sore nipple and an inflammation in my breast..and i'm taking flucloxacillin as antibiotic
at hospital they asked me not to breastfeed while taking it..but my GP said it's ok to breastfeed
now im confused if i brestfeed my baby or not and id like to know you opinion with arguments..

If you have mastitis and the doctor gave you an antibiotic knowing you are nursing, it should be okay. I have had mastitis at least once with each of my three boys and have been encouraged to continue nursing. I would put a call into your doctor and/or your pharmacist to make sure.
I just did a quick search and you are on one of the two most commonCommon cold antibiotics given fro mastitis, so you should be fine. I have usually been put on cephalexinCephalexin Cephalexin monohydrate initially and then have even moved up to stringer antibiotics.
