bright orange discharge during early pregnancy

i am having bright orange  discharge - just a tiny ammount.  is this normal?  had anyone else experienced this?  i am at aprox. 6 weeks now.

I've never heard of bright orange discharge, is it possible it could be blood. Does it have a bad odor? Strangely colored discharge with a bad odor can mean an infection. Otherwise, pregnancy can be different for everyone so who knows. I'd call teh doc and just let them know about it, if they don't think its anything to worry about, then its ok.

BTW I called my doc and he said it doesnt sound like anything to worry about, that I should come in next week like we scheduled for the u/s.  I am sooo nervous!!! I wantthis baby so badly I can practically allreday feel their soft skin and smell their sweet breath.  Im just praying everything will be ok.  Thanks for your answers.

okay, so i've been having a lot of cramp type feelings for about a week now and today i had this brown discharge looking stuff and now it's like really light pinkish redish period looking. could i be pregnant or is this just my period?
