brith control and my period

i have been on aviane birth control pills for a few months and usually i have my period 3 days after i finish up my pills for the month but this month, my period seem to have started the day before i finished my last pill. Is there something wrong? Is this normal?

have you skipped a pill or anything by accident that may have caused this change?

i haven't skipped a pill at all. there was a couple of times that i took the pill a couple hours after i should have. also i am more sexually active than before. does that make a difference?
