bronchopulmonary dysplasia in infants

Hi,
I am a student at Baldwin-Wallace College and I am majoring in communication disorders. I am currently doing a research project on Bronchopulmonary dysplasia within infancy. I wanted to know if there is any type of effects during a pregnancy that can cause bronchopulmonary dysplasia in an infant other than
prematurity. Also, if anyone has any other thoughts or facts on this subject that would be a great help. Thank you!
