brown discharge

HELLO!
I M 29YRS OLD,5&1/2 WK PREGNANT ,ITS MY 1ST PREGNANCY,I HAVE
A LITTLE PINKISH BROWN DISCHARGE TODAY,I M SO WORRIED COZ I HAVE THE SAME SORT OF DISCHARGE BEFORE MY  PERIODS TOO, I M SO WORRIAED ,PLZ HELP ME.

Unless you make an appt to see your doctor you are just going to have to wait it out.
5 1/2 weeks means you have already missed your period, I assume.
Could just be old blood. Lots of women bleed in early pregnancy and go on to have healthy babies.

I had the brown discharge at 5 wks 3 days.  i am now nine weeks.  Good luck.  they told me brown was OK  cause it was old and dried?

i would call the doctor and get it checked out. i had pinkish discharge at 5 weeks pregnant and then it turned into bright red blood that whole week.the doctors checked my hcg level and they said everything was fine. and then the 6th week i started having a brown discharge which is indeed old blood. the doctors checked me out and said my cervix was still closed and they tested my hcg level again. the 16th of this month was my 7th week mark... and that afternoon i found out that i am indeed in the process of a miscarriage and have very heavy brown discharge. it could be nothing and may go away and hopefully it does go away... but i would for sure call the doctor. good luck and let us know what happens...
