brown spotting am i prego

hi recently i had the mirena taken out due to servere migraines and weight gain. then i have been on the nuva ring for a month but when i took it out to have a period nothing happened then two days later i had light brown spotting for two days. during the last month i also had a double lung infection so i was on antibiotics! could i be pregnant? also lately i have had cramping and certain smells are making me gag? please help

There's always a chance for pregnancy, but birth control switching or beginning a new one can also cause irregular periods. Check with your doctor or take a pregnancy test. Good luck!
