I just have a few questions for you:
These questions are for those who DID NOT breastfeed:
1) How many months did it take you to lose the pregnancy weight and what month did you notice it started coming off in?
2)Did anyone lose weight changing diet alone and no exercise?
3)Does your tummy ever look the same again?
4)Were your menstrual cramps as painfulPainful menstrual periods as before you had children?
1) How many months did it take you to lose the pregnancy weight and what month did you notice it started coming off in? I started losing weight right away just because I was stressed with the new baby. Then at about three months I stopped losing and I'd say now (a year after birth of my boy)I'm about ten pounds heavier than I was before pregnancy
2)Did anyone lose weight changing diet alone and no exercise? I don't really diet or exercise regularly so I can't answer your question
3)Does your tummy ever look the same again? My tummy is definitely bigger than it used to be! And I still have the c-section scar, it's still red, and I have the stretch marks, they're still red also
4)Were your menstrual cramps as painfulPainful menstrual periods as before you had children? Actually, it's hard to say because I'm on the pill so mine are never that bad anyway, but I'd say yes, the discomfort is less now than before I had the baby
My son is now 8 years old, I have still not lost all the weight I gained. I was around 109 lbs. I gained up to 186 lbs during the pregnancy. I still have around 30lbs to be at my ideal weight for my height. I did not breast feed, but I have often heard that breast feeding will help in the losing phase. I am not totally sure of that as I didn't do it. Most womenWomen's way I know who did breast feed, have no breast now to see!!! Each womanWomen's way is different we all know that. I realize also that my stomach will never be as flat as it once was before my son-C-section...He was breech. I still have tingles around the scar and fluttersAtrial fibrillation/flutter in my stomach, which have never been explained to me. It takes much longer to get off what 9 months of pregnancy and no exercise has left on me! I hope you get better results than I did, but then again, I have not REALLY tried to lose teh weight not like I should. Coke is my enemy but my best bud too...
i had 2 c sections. the first when i was 23 and the 2nd when i was 27. with the first i was back to my normal weight within one week. after the second one it was about a month. i never lost my stomach since then. it is not that big but it isn't flat. i can't wear hip-hugger pants or anything like that. i didn't exercise at all. i am starting to now because i am 30 now. as far as cramps i have never had them and never got them after either birth. hope this helps in some way.
I have had 4 c- sections in 5 1/2 years. If that wasnt bad enought I not only had the side to side cut but I also had the up and down cut( 2 babies each way)! I have tried to diet, exercise, diet pills you name it (other then tummy tuck) I have tried it and I am still the same weight I was after having my up and down cut. Im so upset because I really DONT know what else to do! Its really hard and I just feel fat and ugly with no end in sight! If ANYONE knows what will help me PLEASE fill me in. I know that a tummy tuck may help but I have 3 kids and dont have the money. Also recovery would be hard as we are a 1 income family and rely on my husbands pay checks! Not to mention that my kids are 4,3,an 2, as you can imagine there's no time for me to be layed up in bed, but Im open to any an all ideas!
