Wow 3 c-sections?  Did you have any vaginal births?  I think the biggest risk of C-sections and pregnancy is that the scar is a weaker point of the uterus and therefore there is a higher risk.

I had a friend who had 3 c-sections and they told her after that no more, they tied her tubes

I just had my 2nd c-section 12 days ago. Since my son had been born via c-section, I asked my doctor about any risks. She told me not to worry, that everything would be fine and she had just done her 7th c-section on one of her patients and everything went fine.
You should talk to your doctor though because it just depends on your doctor and perhapse city and/or state.

Doctors don't like more than three, but that is just a number.  In reality, your risk goes up for every c/s.  Number one has risks, just because it is surgery, Number 2 has risks for the same reasons, plus you have had one c/s already, there could be scar tissue plus a weak scar.  It increases each time, but how much is unknown.  I had a complete uterine rupture with pregnancy #2, with one prior c/s.  It is all the great unknown.
