some tests CAN give an accurate result up to 4  days before you miss your period, however that is not in all women. even the box will tell you that it is only in like 54% of women that it will show that soon.

I would say try a First Response. They always worked good for me, and I would test up to 4 days before. Just keep in mind that every test and every woman is different, so don't get discouraged if it's a negative. You may not have enough HCG to pick up on a test yet! Let us know!

use First Response. I took one yesterday 3 days before my period was due and got a positive!

I used a first response test and didn't get a positive until three days after AF was expected - so don't get discouraged if it's negative.  As much as it sucks, you really just have to wait a bit sometimes.

I was wondering the same thing, my period itsn't until the 15th...next Wed. but my period is always right on time and I started getting a littlw spotting today?  Could that me implantation bleeding or just discharge?  Do I need to wait until 4 days prior to my period to test?
