can u get pregnant?

Is i true that having sex during you're monthly can increase you're chances of concievung? I have heard this many times, but wasn't sure.

Having sex while on your period can increase your chance of infection, but not necessarily your chances of conceiving unless you ovulate way early in your cycle. Of course, I wouldn't say it couldn't happen, but it is less likely.

This is what happens...you have to have sex aprox. 1-2 days before you ovulate...this give the sperm enough time to make their way up there....and they can survive up there for 48-72hrs.  If you have sex on the day of ovulation you may not conceive b/c the sperm won't make it in time.  What is your period?  That is the shedding of the linning of the uterous/and the shedding of the "UNFERTILIZED" egg so chances of getting preg. around this time are slim.  Hope this helps.

It can happen though.  It happened to my sister with her 2nd child.  It just all depends when you ovulate.
