can you get pregnant if no periods/is it normal to have no periods on cerazette

hi i was a late starter for periods as i started when i was 15 and theyve never been regular, some months i got 2 periods. i went on the implant when i was 15 and came off it 2 years later as it made me gain weight. im now on the mini pill (cerazette) and i dont get periods.. is this normal? and can you get pregnant if you dont have periods and havent done for a couple of years. i also missed 4 pills and had intercourse on the 3rd day i missed them, can i get pregnant even though no periods?

I've never been on a progesterone only pills but I did read this:

Cerazette Side Effects:

The most commonly reported undesirable effect in the clinical trials is bleeding irregularity. Some kind of bleeding irregularity has been reported in up to 50% of women using Cerazette. Since Cerazette causes ovulation inhibition close to 100%, in contrast to other progestogen-only pills, irregular bleeding is more common than with other progestogen-only pills. In 20 - 30% of the women, bleeding may become more frequent, whereas in another 20% bleeding may become less frequent or totally absent.

So it sounds like a pretty common side effect to me.

I'm not entirely sure if you can get pregnant with no periods.  The most important part of fertility is ovulation - whether or not there's an egg ready to be fertilized.  As a guess I'd say no, since without a menstrual cycle there's probably not any ovulation going on.  But don't quote me on that.  Ask a professional :)

As for fertility, you'd have to go off the pill and let your cycles return to normal for a while first.  Since you've been on hormonal birth control for a quite a while there's no easy way to tell if you will have trouble conceiving or not.  If you go off the pill, keep records of your cycle so you know for sure whether or not you're regular.  If you're not regular, don't worry.  Having irregular cycles can make it harder but it may work out just fine too.

Wishing you all the luck in the world :)
