Your baby is developing everyday from the minute he is created. Some weeks have more major milestones, but your baby is always growing strong and developing each day. So you will spend your entire pregnancy eating right, taking vitamins and living an overalll healthy lifestyle to ensure your baby will have the chance to properly develop each day.

a baby develops from the moment s/he is conceived and never stops. that's why docs stress getting on prenatals as soon as you find out you're pregnant. those vitamins and minerals are very critical to the baby from the get go.

Conception occurs on either the day of the unprotected sex, or no later than 4 days later.  Then, as the ladies above say, development occurs from that point for nine months.  Pregnancy lasts around 266 days, and every day some particular area or aspect of the baby is developing.  Hope this answers your question, feel free to post back if we did not understand what you are asking.

you can do some google searches and find pictures of exactly what your baby looks like on any particular day/week.  www.babycenter .com is a good site for this.  you do not get pregnant until week 2 of pregnancy and by week 11 (9 weeks after conception) you baby looks like a normal baby.  by week 6 (4 weeks after conception) you can actually see the baby and its heart beating on a ultrasound.  In the first few weeks of pregnancy, MANY changes rapidly occur!!!
