cerclage moms

Just wondering for those who have had a cerclage, how long after the stitch was removed did you have your baby. I am due June 23, but the doctor is taking the stitch out on June 1st. I know 2 ladies who have been through this, one had her baby the day the stitch came out, and the other had her baby the next day. I'm wondering if this is common?

My doctor told me if I have to have one then they'll remove it around 37 weeks as well.  He said that when the woman goes into labor after the removal depends on how imcompetent the cervix is.  If those woman had their babies that day or the day after then theirs must have been pretty bad.

My cerclage was removed at 37.5 weeks and I had my DD at 11:39pm the same night (14 hours of labor).  I have also talked to women who have gone on to be overdue.  It all depends on your body.  Anything is possible.
