cerclage

well very scared and need answers.was diagnosed with incompetent cervix .at 12 weeks. cerclage done at14 weeks .for 14 days i was on complete bed rest and they went well but then i started having some brownish dischage not much just when i wipe but it is persistent .does anyone hAS ANY CLUE.I AM HAVING IT FOR 6 DAYS NOW.went to the doctor .they did USG. everything was okay.put me on progesterone and bed rest but discharge has not stopped. is it normal.scared please help

I too have a cerclage in place.....mine was placed at 14wks and I am now 30wks.....my dr. told me that I would have an increase in discharge and some spotting.....I spotted the brown stuff for a few days and actually had some heavy bleeding @ 18wks.....it was very scary, but all is well. I have been on complete bed rest since 12wks and it is hard, but just stay down and follow drs. orders.....try not to worry too much, but if you have any bright red or heavy bleeding call your OB, but the brown stuff is just old blood and ok.....Good luck and feel free to PM me if you want to talk.
