cervix dilation

Can having your cervix dilated help you get pregnant if they're not open like they should be?

If the doctor feels that your cervix is scarred or has a stricture holding it unusually tightly closed, then sometimes they may try passing an instrument through the cervix to open it slightly.

Its rarely necessary.

You are saying "if *they're* not open like *they* should be," in other words, something that is obviously more than one, but you only have one cervix.  Do you mean your Fallopian tubes?  A cervix is usually supposed to be shut.  Do you know from tests and a doctor's diagnosis that something is not open that should be open?
