cervix position before AF and when pregnant?

Good morning girls!
I have a question about cervix position. I have looked on the internet and keep finding different answers but nothing very clear so maybe some of you could help me.
What is your cervical position just before AF comes and when your pregnant? Also about BBT, when does your temp drop before AF comes, like that day or a few day prior?

Your cervix stays high and soft if you're pregnant, and gets low and firm during af. This isn't a reliable way to check for pregnancy since you have to do it a LONG time to really notice the difference. As far as your temp goes, it's different for everyone. My temp usually dropped the day I got af, but sometimes was a day after. Once you have a pattern, you'll know. Good luck.

Thanks, that makes sense then. Mine is low and firm and AF is due tommorow! I was hoping i was preggers but even on a FRER this am with FMU I got a BFN. I am guessing this is not my month! Bummer.

I also recommend reading the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. It has A LOT of info in it and is extremely helpful. How long have you been bbt charting/ttc?

OK, I dont know if you will re read this post but I am confused because when I checked my cervix early this am it was low and firm and i just checked it and it has now become high and soft, can that happen in just a couple hours?

you know its crazy but your cervix can "jump around". i mean i have checked mine in am and low or high and little while later it was the opposite. crazy huh. dont let our dh hear this but our cervix is kinda like our mood swings haha.

Yes your cervix moves around throughout the day. You should check it right away in the morning and that's the one you record for the day. But I will say it again, it's not reliable. I have been checking mine since January and at the end of June, I was sure I was getting af, when I got a bfp instead.

I have only been BBT charting this month, but I have been trying to concieve (conceive) for about 1 year. I got pregnant in late March and mc'd in May. So I have been desperate to concieve (conceive) again. Thanks for the info on the book.

I'm in the same boat. I am supposed to start today- yesterday my cervix was med-low but today it is very hard to reach. Is that a good sign??
