chlamydia please help me

I found out today that i have chlamydia. I have been with my bf for over a year and he is the only one i have slept with, and vice versa. We had Trichomiasis about a year ago and was given antibiotics for it. Could this have came back and developed into Chlamydia? how did we get this if we have only been with each other?

I'm not an expert, but I would talk to your doctor to see how common reoccurence is and if it's not that common, I'd be talking with my bf.

If you two have only ever slept with each other....someone is lying. You don't just magically develop STDS.

Hate to say it, but you only get chlamydia from having unprotected sex with someone who has it.  Meaning someone is not be honest about being monogomous.  Make sure you get the treatment for chlamydia right away.  You do not want to end up with PID.  Trichomiasis does not cause chlamydia.  I had chlmydia years ago, good news is it is totally treatable.  Good Luck.  Talk to that bf and find out if he is not being faithful.  This is your life and health and that is too precious to waste on a cheater.

he is accusing me, but he is the only one i have been with since we started dating a year and 3 months ago today. is there a chance that it could have laid dormant that long and just now turned up.
I dont understand it, he is convinced it is me, and he swore on our babies life that he has never cheated on me.

guys will do that all the time.. i ended up having it as well and i got it from my now bf...he probably got it from his ex gf..she slept around..but it almost cost me my baby's life because i was in the er with bleeding... i was told it was a miracle i didnt miscarry..i was treated...get treated asap...good luck.

You can have chlamydia for a long time with no symptoms so who knows who got it from who....just get treated and make smarter decisions next time.

yeah, he def. has it too cause we are sexually active.  i dunno how this happend. im gonna talk to my doctor today.
i hope its all one big mistake.
i tried to tell josh that it could lay dormant for a long time. does anyone know how long?

try googling it.  then show him the information.  If you are confident that he hasn't slept around on you and he's accusing you....just simply tell him it could go either way....but it could also be that one of you contracted it BEFORE you got together....There's no fool proof way to know if all parties insist on having been faithful.  There's no sense in pointing fingers at this point...treat it and move on.

I had no idea the number of "happily married men" who cheat on their wives.  It boggles the mind.
