choroid plexus cysts

I just had my first ultrasound at 18 weeks and choroid plexus cysts were found. Everything else was normal--no deformities, etc. I am 34 years old and this is my first. The doctor said not to worry but I do anyway. Can anyone give more information?

our last baby had these too, they will probably disappear in the coming weeks.

My perfectly healthy 7 year old daughter had a CPC when I was pregnant and I worried myself sick. We were sent for a level 2 ultrasound and everything was fine. It can be a marker for trisomy 18 and 21, but is rare and usually nothing to worry about. There is plenty of information out there on this subject. Albert Einstein was found to have a CPC at this autopsy! Maybe we have geniuses in the works!

mt daughter ahd the same thing she went for a level 2 u/s they say it was nothing, they will shrink on there own she goes again in feb to make sure they are shrinking, keep positive Im sure it will be fine. I will pray for you.
