Oh poor little baby. I HATE when they get circumsized. My last baby cried non-stop a full hour, but nothing like your poor little boy.
You should probably ask the doctor at this point. If he had only been crying an hour or two, I would say that is normal. But 9 hours is excessive.
Maybe something is wrong. Why was he not circumsized in the hospital at birth?
I hope he feels better soon.

So he hasn't even napped?   This is really,  really unusual.  Nine hours and he hasn't stopped crying - and he's crying while he's drinking?   When my sons were circumcised,  they cried for a moment but they actually cried much louder and longer during the "heel *****" blood tests.

I think you should call your pediatrician's after hours if this is a real post.    Sorry to act doubtful,  but there is a guy who posts here under all different kinds of names and he's really really focused on the fact that he's circumcised and he takes on different personalities trying to express the horror of circumcision.

If you are for real,  it's time to call your doc.  Best wishes.

This is NOT normal behavior after having a circumcision. You need to call a pediatrician immediately or take him to the hospital. It may not be related to his circumcised penis. There may be something serious going on. Don't wait!!! I've seen many circumcisions and only one actually cried. Also, you need to monitor his penis as it heals and for the next year to make sure no adhesions (such as a skin bridge) occur. If you'd like anymore information please just send a message anytime to give you more information about Circumcision. However, I won't diagnose your son over the internet. I hope he's alright and it's just something minor. Remember to call for your son’s sake.

I agree, this is not normal. I would call his pedi. just to make sure. Good luck.

Poor Guy, I am wondering too why you waited? But just curious, anyways, yes, call the dr. but after they did my sons in the hospital they gave us tylenol. I'm not sure tylenol will cure excessive crying but it's an option.

Circumcision should not cause the poor little guy to be crying so much.  Something's up.  I hope you got the help.
