Hi i have a ? about taking clomid is it possible to take it and not ovulate? Cause i got my af on the 4th of july took clomid from day 5to9 and i started charting with the clearblue monitor on the 10th and it went from low to mediumMedium chain triglycerides and now its low again so it never peaked and my c/m was milky lotion like and has not changed. last month the dr gave me 100mg and i did reach peak on the monitor but this month i took 150mg witch i thought for sure i would ov but did'nt what's going on has this happened to antone can anyone please give some advice i would really appriciate it cause this has me baffled thanks and lots of baby dust to all .......xoxoxo
I had a very similar experience. I was on Clomid 50 mg and peaked just fine with the monitor. then when I was increased to 100 mg for two months, the monitor did not peak on either month. I read in the booklet which said that Clomid can affect the monitor and it is possible to have ovulated and it did not show because the estrogen from the clomid affected the monitor.
The only reason I knew I ovulated is that my progesterone levels were very high, indiciating ovulation occurred. Did your doctor have you do blood tests on day 21 to check your progesterone levels?
