clomid/progesterone

clomid/progesterone

Hello,

I have a question. I have PCOS and with my last pregnancy I had to take progesterone, clomid, and metformin...

I am working on #3 and The dr told me to take the clomid on days 5-9  but I cannot remember if it is 5 days AFTER I take my 7 days of progesterone or day 5 OF taking my progesterone??

Day One is the first day you start your period.  So, I guess the progesterone will make you start your period.  Then Day 1 is the first day of your period, and count your whole cycle from there.  Does that make sense?  I had to do the progesterone and clomid and now I am almost 8 weeks pregnant! Good luck to you!

My doctor keeps telling me that progesterone will not work in helping me get pregnant.  I'm taking letrozole which is like clomid, but I really want him to try progesterone because I am afraid that I am not producing enough of it, and my lining is shed.  What made your doctor put you on progesterone?
