i took clomid 100 mg without consulting the doc. last year doc prescribed me same and i conceived but my baby was delivered in 7 month with low birth weight and expired in 3 days.  my prido cycle is 26 days, thus i ovulate on 9-11 day if the cycle.  after taking clomid i went for an ultrasound on 17 day and sonologist said i have one recenlty reptured folicle & i should have intercourse now. how can i ovulate that late in 26 days cycle.

This happens to people all the time. Nobody knows for sure when the ovulate, some people o twice in one cycle. Take her advice and babydance!

I took 50mg of clomid this month and I believe it pushed my ovulation day to 17 or 18 (normally days 13-15).  But my cycle is 30-31 days.  
If you are preggo- congrats!!!  I like hearing success stories... it gives me hope!

That's great news about the ruptured follicle!!!  I didn't know they could see that on an ultrasound!?  I went in last Thursday to take a look at my lining and follicles and low and behold I had quite a few!!!  YIPPPEEEEEE  I took 150 mg of clomid last month but nothing this month.  I did rub on some estrogen cream in my early cycle...  and I think that is why i may ovulate?.  It is kind of a natural form (less intense also) of clomid.  My fertility monitor has had me at high for over 7 days and today is SHOWED PEAK FERTILITY which means I'll be ovulating here soon (24-36 hours)  I am on cloud NINE :))))))  I am saying my prayers that God will give me another baby!!!!!!!!!!!  My son is 12.5 mos and growing so fast.  I want 8 more babies if God will allow for it :))  hee hee.  

I have been seeing that "high" level for 7 days and was going to quit testing tomorrow (cd 18).  The monitor instruction booklet said that it may read high due to estrogen (so i figured it was from the estrogen cream and didn't mean I was on the road to ovulation) so I was going to chalk it up to that and quit testing for the month.  Last month I never showed HIGH.  the first day it asked me to test I was peak.  I about fell over!  hah  but didn't get pregnant.  

OOOHHH listen to how freaky this is!!!!  I have a nurses book that has a chart that shows the day 1 of period, expected conception, expected implantation, expected due date.  SOOO  i opened it up today to check out what my due date may be AND THE ROW that started with my Date of last period WAS HIGHLIGHTED!!!  They used March 27th as the example.  Come on that's freaky!!!!  I am soo hoping it's a sign :))))  I believe in those, hee hee!!

thanks for ur comments...i am still hoping to hear a good news though i can feel the pre menstrual pains in my back but i still have high hopes...may Allah give me and all the others who are trying hard to become pregnant the good news of normal conception soon (Amin)
