I also got pregnant on my third round of clomid 100 mg and when my progesterone was checked at 13dpo it was 44. So clomid really does boost it up. I am now 19 weeks and knock on wood things are going great.   Good Luck!!!

Before starting clomid, my progesterone on CD 21 was 8.7. The same test after 50 mg was 9.9, and after taking 100 mg, my progesterone was 21.5 on CD 21.

I have used 3 cycles of clomid and on the last one we got pregnant, we m/c but it did work.  I am not sure if it helps with the progesterone but I know it does help you ovulate...it gives your ovaries a push to mature the eggs.
Hope that helps and good luck

Clomid will increase your progesterone as well.  Basically the doctor told me it pushes all of your hormones into overdrive so it will make you have more progesterone as well.  I'm still on my first cycle of it so I don't know how well it works yet.  Watch out for those hot flashes and mood swings!  They got pretty rough for poor DH!!!

I am not sure what it does for progesterone but it does help in conceving.  I have PCOS and I took 100mgs of clomind for 1 month and 150mgs for 2 months and got pregnant.
