colorless skin bumps

My child, age 4 1/2 has a rash of skin colored bumps on her stomach.  There does not seem to be any severe irratation.  they are small in size, but noticable.  I have tried lotion, small amounts of hydrocortizone, but they persist. They cover most of her tummy area and seems some times they flair up, to cover more skin area.  There is joint custody, so I am unaware if it may be due to an allergy, when she is not with me, but the bumps are not red, and they do not seem to be itchy, and they are always there.

I have skin colored bumps on my knees and the back of my arms. I've had it all my life. I've been to the doctor and there's nothing's wrong. There's nothing they can do. On the other hand my son had a yeast infection on his skin that caused bumps on his shoulders once. It was treated with a prescribed ointment and went away. Most likely the skin colored bumps are nothing to worry about but it's always best to consult a doctor if you're concerned.

My son got bumps last year on his face that started out as nothing and then got worse--turned out it was triggered by the environment outside--he loves to play outside.  Turned out he has eczema.  Needed to take him to the dermatologist to get treated.  Just fine now but does have out breaks once in a while.  Hope this is not your case--but just keep an eye on them--wash with really mild soap-no fragrances or colors---we also use vanicream to keep his skin moist--works well especially at night.

my daughter has this on her face - same diagnosis by pediatrician - do nothing but hydracortazone, it will come and go, eventually it will go away completely.  I put diaper cream on it when it flares up and that works very well.

my 3 1/2 year old daughter has this on her arms, thighs and sometimes on her face.  Her pediatrician says its nothing to worry about.  It is worse in the winter and I found that it gets worse if I don't use moisturizer on her.  Aquaphor has worked the best for us.  Hope this helps you.
