hi my sons vision is 6/109 what does this mean?

I can understand your concern. However, since I do not know your son's age, I'll give you a general answer. A newborn’s visual acuity is approximately 20/400, and becomes 20/20 usually after the age of six months in most children. So it is possible that your son is within this age group.
If your son is older then you need to consult an eye specialist to find the cause of poor vision. It can be severe myopia or congenital cataract or any other cause.
