I'd pump anyway, and freeze it.  Then slowly extend the time between pumping and /or feedings, so you slowly pump less.  It's useful to have the milk frozen, and that way you protect yourself from mastitis.  Good luck!

And I know this sounds crazy, but it is an old midwives' trick and it works great for engorgement...cabbage leaves....they hae an enzyme that helps and they feel cool on sore breasts.

(and you can make cole slaw when you are done, lol)
