continuous spotting-is this normal?

by ildike, Jul 26, 2003 12:00AM
Does anyone have this problem?  I am almost 12 weeks, had red spotting three days ago, went to the ER, but turned out that baby was fine, heartbeat was there and baby was moving-it was so cute!  I thought that the spotting would stop, but it hasn't yet.  It's definitely brown, no cramps.  I feel that everything's ok, but why do you think it doesn't stop? Dr said that it might be one of my pregnancy symptoms.  Just wondering if anyone has had this problem.

If its brown,or even lightpinkyou have nothing to worry about. It could be a number of things that are neither harmful to you or your baby. Its good that you saw the baby doing great. That is the best sign you can get...

HI, I used to have spotting during my first trimester with my 1st child. She is  avery healthy 7 year old now. I always used to be concernedbut my ultrasound always showed great. so dont know why I spotted. I had even spotted for a day at 5 months after taking abath.. I have read as pregnant woman its not safe to take a bath but good to take showers instead... anyways, my point is that some people have spotting and if you see your baby moving in us  then theres nothing to worry about.
