cramping..late...and BFN

Hello, I am about 4 days late today Last period was on 6/22 I am usually very regular every 28 days or so. I have been cramping for a week like I am going to get my period any time. I took a HPt and it was negative, however there was a very faint line which I think was an evap. line. I am not trying to get pregnant but would be thrilled either way. Do you think I should get a blood test or just wait it out? Thanks

i would get a blood test just to be sure. i had the same type of cramping when i was expecting my period and...no period. i took a test 3-4 days after the cramping started and was positive. it very well could be implantation cramping. i am now almost 16 weeks. good luck...hope to hear good news!

When you say there was a faint line that you think might have been an evap line, did you see this line within the timeframe that you are supposed to read the test?  Or did this line show up afterwards?

If it was there within the timeframe, then I'd definitely take another test tomorrow morning using FMU.  Good luck and baby dust!!!!

did you read the line before the 10 min mark? was it the same color as the test line? this makes a difference if it were pos or an evap. bfp--COOL!

It was right at about ten min. but the line was very faint like you had to hold it up to the light to see it that it why I think it was just an evap line. I have a 2 year old and when I tested with him it was very dark and immediatly showed up. I do feel nausea and I am breaking out like a teenager but I think it may be because i am syking myself out. I am worried because my Dr. just prescibed my Libraz whick is not recommended in early pregnancy(I have stoppped taking).

i would suggest you take another test - to be sure and if that one negative and still no af in  a few days test again. good luck!!
