crawling but not sitting

My son is almost 7 months old.  He has been crawling since he turned 6 months.  During the 5th month, just before he started crawling he was almost sitting.  Once he began the crawling he has had no desire to sit and if i put him in the sitting position he will throw himself over.  Is it normal to crawl and not sit?  Will he eventually sit once the excitement of crawling goes away?

my ds is exactly the same..he will sit if you are with him playing but i was told he should sit on his own and he is still pretty wabbly but yet has been crawling...

My two older kids crawled before sitting.

Nadia sits just fine but isn't remotely interested in crawling.

let your baby go in any order she wants. theres no person that cant sit in the future. meaning it will happen . dont rush her.
