cysts/ boils

My 2 year old daughter has a boil or cyst on the inside if her butt cheek. It is causing her great pain and it is now very large and swollen with a white head . I have gotten these same things recurring through my adult life and have never been able to get a clear answer as to what they are from,although they are no form of sexually transitted disease. What do I do? Squeezing it would be agonizing to her.

I had one of those once, and went to the doc.  He gave me lidocaine and cleaned it out.  Don't try anything like that at home!!!!!   The only home treatment that might help and not cause a horrible infection is some sitzbaths.  She might try three baths a day or sitting in a basin three times a day, and soaking.
