decreased libido after miscarriage

Has anyone experienced decreased libido after miscarriage and D&C?  I had D&C a month ago, at 13 weeks, and since then I feel like I am not the way I used to be in that department any more. I mean not that I dont have sex with my husband, I do, I just dont initiate  anything ever and I dont enjoy it as I used to. do you think there is any relation between the miscarriage and the way I feel? Please advise.

Thanks

sure absolutely.  i actually didnt enjoy sex again until after my son was born.  i miscarried and could have cared less about sex.  i was on a mission.  i would never tell my husband that!  then after my son i became pregnant again, and i feel differently.  I cannot wait to have sex!!  I think it is a mixture of emotional and hormonal changes.  If it becomes a way big concern maybe get some counseling.  talking makes a lot of things better.  :)  all will be ok.  how long ago was your m/c??

If you are feeling depressed, which you are certainly allowed to be after a m/c, then decreased sex drive is a very very common side effect. Hormones are also a huge factor, and yours might be screwed up still from the lost pregnancy. I know that since I found out I was pregnant, I have ZERO sex drive. I was never really into it to begin with, but now it is really causing a lot of pressure on my marriage. I just can't help it, if you don't want to, you don't want to. I am going to have a nice talk with my doc about it next week, with my husband to hear. I am hoping the doc can tell my husband I am not completely weird.

I think both of you are right, since the M/C was only 1.5 months ago. I really hope that it goes away soon, because as you mentioned it put some pressure on the marriage. I am going to TTC again in august regardless:)
