diarrhea and back pain

Daughter has had Diarrhea for about 14 days also back pain. Also has oral thrush and ulcers. Has not eaten hardly in this time.  Any idea's?
She is 26months old and is very tiny in size.  Was born with dilated adrenal pelvis and persistent arterious ductus.  Has had urinary tract infections due to kidneys. Has never been a good eater.  Only wants her milk. Has had a little juice, but not much???

What has the doctor said?  The poor thing, I bet she's just miserable.  I know milk seems good to give her because she's not eating and you want to give her the calories.  

But as for diarrhea, you're suppose to stear clear of things with high carbohydrate content because it can exacerbate the problem.  I'd be sure to give her some form of a rehydration drink, hopefully perscribed by the doctor. If that's not available you can mix one yourself but I'd still ask a doctor.  There's a mixture listed in one of my baby books;
  
Ingredients are:
One Liter water
2 tbls sugar/honey
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
You can mash in a banana to make it taste better.

What have the doctors done about her other problems, persistant arteriosus ductus and dilated adrenal pelvis?  I'm so sorry you two are going through this and good luck in getting her better.

I was just having the same thing (without the diarreah (diarrhea)).  I ended up in ER cuz I had myself convinced I was having a heart attack with my symptoms.  I was having TERRIBLE back pain and stomach cramps and sweating but cold etc.  I was told by the dr that it was viral.  He said he had seen A LOT of it lately.  Maybe that is all it is with your little one.  I hope they feel better soon.  If it is viral they say it just has to run it's course.  I felt yucky for about 4 days or so.  Hope all is ok.  Good Luck and take care.  Lots of fluids and rest.
